The TIS 880 is our new network cable tester which is a two piece unit that will test UTP (unshielded twisted pairs), STP (shielded twisted pairs) and Coaxial cable. The unit is small and hand-held and it enables network professionals to quickly and easily verify the integrity of straight-through twisted pair cables and coaxial cables. The TIS 880 can test the ID number of the ID test terminal connected to the remote end of the cable under test so that this cable can be verified. The unit can perform a de-bug test which quickly identifies which cable pair have a specific wiring fault.
